Everything you need to know before booking your Morocco tour.
Booking & Payment
The fastest way is WhatsApp — message Youssef at +212 723-047402. Tell him your dates, group size, and which tour you want. You can also email magicalmorocotravel@gmail.com or visit our contact page.
Day trips need just a few days' notice. Desert and grand tours: book 1–2 weeks ahead, especially March–May and September–November. Check availability here.
Cash in Moroccan Dirham (MAD) at the start of your tour. For deposits or international bookings, bank transfer can be arranged — ask via WhatsApp.
For 3-day+ tours, a small deposit secures your booking. Day trips don't usually need one. Contact us to discuss.
Cancellations 48+ hours ahead are generally fully refundable. For last-minute changes, message via WhatsApp and Youssef will find a fair solution.
Every tour is 100% private. Your group, your guide, your vehicle, your pace. No strangers ever. See all available tours.
Tours & Itineraries
All tours depart from Marrakech. Youssef picks you up from your riad or hotel — no bus stations, no stress.
Absolutely. Add a hike, skip a busy site, stay longer somewhere. Youssef builds the tour around you. Get in touch to start planning.
Typically: private 4x4, English-speaking guide, accommodation (multi-day), camel ride at Merzouga, desert camp. Meals and entrance fees are usually separate. See full details on our tour pages.
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are best — mild temps, stunning landscapes. Summer is very hot in the south. Ask Youssef about your exact dates.
Yes — Youssef's home territory. See our Sahara tours, Merzouga experiences, and day trips from Marrakech.
Day Trips from Marrakech, Desert Tours to the Sahara, and Grand Morocco Tours — all 100% private and fully customisable.
Getting Around
Air-conditioned 4x4 vehicles suited for mountain passes and desert tracks. Minivans available for larger groups. All clean, maintained, and driven by experienced local drivers.
Yes. Airport transfers to/from Marrakech Menara Airport can be added to any tour or booked as a standalone. Share your flight details and Youssef handles the rest.
The best sites — Dades Gorge, Todra Gorge, Merzouga, remote kasbahs — are hard to reach without private transport. A guide removes logistics and brings the stories that make every stop unforgettable.
What to Pack
Light breathable clothes + a warm layer for desert nights, modest dress for medinas (shoulders/knees covered), sturdy shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a daypack, cash in MAD, and a power bank. Questions? Ask Youssef.
US, UK, Canada, Australia, and most EU citizens don't need a visa — up to 90 days on arrival. Always check your government's latest travel advisory before booking.
Moroccan Dirham (MAD). ATMs available in cities, but cash is essential in souks and rural areas. Exchange at the airport or a bank on arrival.
Safety & Travel Tips
Morocco is one of North Africa's safest destinations, welcoming millions of tourists every year. Violent crime is rare. Travelling with a trusted local guide like Youssef removes any uncertainty.
Yes. Dress modestly in medinas and rural areas. A private tour means you're never navigating alone — most solo travellers say this makes a huge difference. Talk to Youssef about your needs.
  • Dress modestly, especially in religious sites
  • Remove shoes before entering mosques or homes
  • Ask before photographing people
  • Bargaining in the souks is expected — enjoy it
  • Tipping is appreciated: 10–15% at restaurants
